The Supply Chain Planning Manager oversees the analysis, forecasting, and planning of inventory at a parts warehouse in TN! In this role you'll manage a small team to ensure parts are in stock, as well as mentoring them to grow in their career.

You'll analyze data and present trends and reports to leadership. You'll work with your team to forecast inventory requirements with suppliers, managing supplier capacities during high-demand, and work to make sure the right products are in stock for the dealer network acrross the US.

Overview

• Optimize millions in inventory for a large manufacturing company
• Analyze and make decisions on inventory forecasting 
• Produce reports daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Supervises a team of planners and analysts, helping them grow in their career
• Develop and implement strategies to support inventory and product availability
• Review the accuracy and effectiveness of system-generated planning signals in collaboration with other team members
• Assess vendor performance and work with Purchasing and Customer Service teams to address any performance-related challenges.
• Maintain key performance metrics, conduct thorough root cause analyses, and establish corrective measures to meet organizational objectives.
• Contribute to the creation and refinement of materials management policies 

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3+ years of management
• Use Excel to do pivot tables, formulas, and charts
• Proficient at PowerPoint 
• Strong knowledge of supply chain planning tools and methodologies.
