We are looking for a Project Manager in Washington DC! In this job you will plan & coordinate all activities of energy efficiency federal government projects to ensure they are completed in time and within budget parameters.
You'll manage projects per contractual requirements, making sure they're completed at or under budget and on-schedule. Must be capable of working independently and be able to use best judgment in critical decision making. Reviews design arrangements and oversees the implementation of all scopes of work.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plans, directs and coordinates activities of construction projects to ensure that goals are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and financial parameters.
- Directs and manages multiple projects and project teams
- Develops and reviews project schedules, cost estimation, bill of materials, budgets, scopes of work, standards and quotes from subcontractors and suppliers
- Manages all parties involved (internal and external) and ensures professional project management from development to construction phase
- Manages project implementation to assure cost, time, quality and execution guidelines are achieved according to the schedule.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- 7+ years of related work experience in construction management or project management.
- Demonstrated ability in managing projects: development, planning, installation and execution.
- Experience at preparing estimates and value engineering.
- Experience in directing, supervising, assigning and directing work, conducting performance appraisals, disciplining employees, and addressing complaints and resolving personnel problems.
- Strong working knowledge in electrical, mechanical (HVAC), plumbing and general construction.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
- All candidates must have the ability to speak, read and write English. Professional
- Must possess a current OSHA 10 hour card – OSHA 30 is preferred.
- Must have strong financial skills and be able to manage project budgets, including, but not limited to, cost forecasting, AP / AR, subcontract and PO generation.
- Must be willing to travel to manage projects outside of the regional office area. This may be for extended periods of time.
